UPDATE COVID- 19
It’s with a heavy heart that PWP have come to a decision not to reopen on the 28th March as planned.
We have not been forced to close; however, we feel we have a moral obligation to protect public health, if we can. We have that opportunity and we hope we will be able to look back and be proud that we made the right decision for our community and our business, which we love.
The actions we are taking are to ensure the safety of the public, staff, and our friends and family. We also hope that it will protect what we have worked so hard to create, so that the wake park still exists once this pandemic is over.
We’re gutted to not be able to bring back an amazing team of returning and new staff that we had lined up for you. Unfortunately, closing our gates does not stop our costs, so in the meantime you may see us working jobs elsewhere, so that we are still able to open our doors when the time is right!
As three local siblings, we’re always grateful for the support we receive day in and day out and these testing times are amongst all of us; however, we know we will overcome this challenge as a community. If there is anything that the three of us can do to help you, please let us know - we’re happy to help where we can!
As always we will continue to monitor the situation, listen to the experts and fingers crossed, come out the other side ready for what is left of our season. We plan to have happy faces and ‘send it’ moments back as soon as we possibly and safely can. But if this is not possible then we will come back bigger and better in 2021!
Lastly, we’d just like to also say a massive thank you to those in the community who are working tirelessly on the front line.
For the time being, stay safe and look after each other.
We hope to see you all soon.
