Covid-19 Operational Policy

Covid-19 Operating Procedures

We are excited to announce that as a result of the relaxation of the Coronavirus regulations by the Welsh Government, Pembrokeshire Wake Park is open for pre-booked Wake Boarding sessions. We are open to members and those who have wakeboarding before and from 23rd July we will be open to beginners.

Unfortunately, the Aqua Park and ringo rides will not currently be available.

Sport Wales and BWSW (British Waterski & Wakeboard) have provided guidance, which we have incorporated into our own operating procedures. To ensure the safety of all our customers and staff, we ask that you respect these procedures.

Can I Ride?

  • If you are a member or have wakeboarding before then you can ride at Pembrokeshire Wake Park. Beginners sessions can be booked from 23rd July.

  • If you do not have your own equipment please see our kit hire page (prices have had to change as a result of the increased cleaning required, reducing the lifespan of our equipment).

  • The shop is still open for sales and we have fresh 2020 stock in at great prices.

When Are You Open?

We are currently open 12pm-6pm Thursday & Friday, 10am-6pm Saturday and 10am-4pm Sunday.

We will operate in 1-hour blocks with 15 mins gap every hour. This is to enable time between each rider to swap whilst maintaining social distancing and ensure only one rider is on the dock at any time.

Before Arrival?

  • Please book online or email us to book. All sessions must be paid for before arrival (you will notice we are running each hour with a 15 minute break, this is to allow changeovers whilst ensuring social distancing is maintained)

  •  No Cash payments will be taken onsite.

  • Please ensure waivers are completed before arrival.

  • Please do not attend/or book if you or anyone in your household has symptoms of Covid-19. If you need to cancel for this reason, please contact us.

  • Changing rooms will not be open during this time, therefore we ask that you use the toilet before travelling and arrive prepared.

On Arrival

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of your session (if you are already changed, this will give plenty of time and allow for social distancing)

  • On arrival, please use the hand sanitizer provided and check-in at reception on the left of the main clubhouse.

  • Do not head to the cable until 5 minutes before your start time.

  • Please wait until the rider before you has exited the water before stepping onto the dock to strap in.

  • Participants should stay within their skill level and comfort zone avoiding unnecessary risk of injury.

  • Riders must leave water at the dock maintaining social distancing with the operator and next rider.

  • Rider must take all equipment with them.

  •  If you are using the site handle then you are responsible to place the handle in the bucket on the dock with disinfectant.
